Best In Show is owned by Hilde Haakensen who has more than 30 years experience with dogs. She is a professional dog show handler who also raises, traines, and shows miniature schnauzers. Read more about Hilde here.

We are an AKC S.A.F.E. Grooming salon, we are members of International Professional Groomers, Inc and the National Dog Groomers Association of America.

Groomer
Jay is an Atlanta native with 9 years of grooming experience. His specialities are Lion cuts/Teddybear cuts, Pomeranians, Doodles, Cockers and any cute fluffy dog. His hobbies are Ant keeping(!) and fish breeding. He is the proud owner of two bearded dragons and a Bichon.
Manager & Groomer
Noelle manages the salon on a daily basis and grooms dogs. She was born in California and has gone to dog shows all her life. When they moved to Atlanta she got her first dog, an Afghan hound, that she started showing in Juniors. She also helps show the Axcium Miniature Schnauzers
Kennel Manager
Renee has years experience managing dogs, and she is responsible for all our boarding and daycare dogs.
Tiffany is the latest member of our staff, she has years experience managing dogs, and she will be in charge of our dogtraining program.
Peggy helps taking care of the boarding dogs and makes sure our facility is squeeky clean. She has had dogs all her life.
Taryn started an internship at BIS when she was 16. She is currently enrolled at Georgia Southern University where she wants to become a veterinarian. Taryn helps out when she is home during her school-breaks.
